=====Rayman 3 (Java Mobile Phone Game)=====
Is it just me, or was this Ubisoft/Gameloft's first time making a game for phones? With a high-profile franchise such as Rayman, you'd think they take care of the limbless hero better. After all, the other versions of Rayman 3 were well-structured. In fact, the GBA version of Rayman 3 was a terrific 2D platformer. So why couldn't the phone game follow that version?

Well, it looks like at one point they did try to do that. The graphics are revised sprites from Rayman 3 GBA. At least...What makes up the graphics. Yeah, there's not a lot to look at. There is no enemy variety (Only a few enemies appear in levels), and there are only 2 environments.

But it's not the graphical look that lets me know this game is problematic. It's how the game is set up. The basic platforming elements for Rayman are present, but again, there are hardly any enemies. On top of that, the level design feels uninspired, and one level even misled me as to where I was supposed to go.

And believe it or not, there are 8 levels right? After all, that's how many a mobile platformer usually has, right? WRONG. Rayman 3 supposedly has 8, but really, 2 of the levels are boss battles. Oh wait. Scratch that. They are battles with a standard enemy that has a secondary attack. I'm. Dead. Freaking. Serious.

All in all, avoid this and get Rayman 3 on the GBA/DS if you want portable Rayman fun. This should just be left alone.
Review time!
